Ferrous Scrap Products. Steel Mill Solutions and Foundry Scrap

At Louis Padnos Iron & Metal Company we take great pride on offering a wide range of ferrous (containing iron) scrap products. Steel mills and foundries consume thousands of tons of ferrous scrap products on a daily basis, and continually look to Padnos for their raw material product  solutions. At Padnos, we continually strive to improve our process capabilities, providing quality assured products on a just in time basis.

Non-Ferrous Metals Products

Non Ferrous

Non-Ferrous Metals represent a significant portion of our product offerings at Padnos Iron & Metal. We offer a vast array of products in the Aluminum, Copper & Brass, and Stainless/Hi-temp Alloy families. Each month we ship millions of pounds of non-ferrous metals to consumers throughout the country and the world. Our non-ferrous metal production capabilities includes baling, briquetting, shearing, and shredding, along with our state of the art eddy current system allowing us to remove non-ferrous metals from our ferrous shredding operations.

 Electronics Recycling

Currently, electronic waste accounts for approximately 2% of the overall waste in US landfills, but over 70% of overall toxic waste. In particular, CRT monitors and computers are filled with toxins such as lead, cadmium, and mercury that must be handled responsibly to avoid contamination of surrounding areas and waterways.
